Woman orders door bow from Temu and is in disbelief when she opens package

Decorating for the festive season is so much fun, and with the countdown to Christmas officially on once Halloween is done and dusted, it's time to start thinking about the ways you're going to adorn your home with festive decorations.

However, one woman was left baffled after she ordered a cute bow for her door, only to have something totally different turn up. Some people claimed it was her fault for not looking at the listing properly, though. Diana, who posts on TikTokas @diariesofdiana, said that she was "expecting just the bow". So when she opened up the Temu parcel, she got more than she bargained for.

The shopper said: "What I ordered from Temu... a bow for the door. And what I got, a whole door".

She assumed that she was ordering the cute pink bow to decorate her home with and expected a big, plush, pink bow that she could adorn her front door with.

But what she actually received a faux door complete with a clock over the top of it, which could be used for parties.

"Temu strikes again," she joked over the top, but some people said that it was her fault, and she 'should've known better'.

"Literally begging y’all to start looking at reviews or reading the description, I do it every time," someone said.

Another fumed: "It says in the description that it is a door cover with a wreath design, not a wreath! Also, the same door under the bow is in all pics, especially in pics obviously inside the house, so that’s your clue!"

Another TikTok user wrote: "Lol! Don't blame Temu! If you read the description, it is either written as a door flag, a door cover or a door curtain".

Some also said that you "get what you pay for" when you buy from budget websites, as the Diana paid under £6 for the bow.

Others meanwhile admitted the same thing had happened to them, as one wrote: "Omg this happened to me but with a red bow."

Another shared: "Omg I’m dying. I bought the exact same thing and this is the moment I realise I’m probably going to get the whole door and bow like yours".

Diana replied: "LMAO! Oh nooo".

Somebody said that you need to "read the reviews" when ordering from websites like Temu, claiming that this item hadn't had any reviews up until this point, so she should've thought twice before ordering it.

But others even pointed out that the measurements were of the door, rather than the bow, so the alarm bells should've started ringing before she placed the order.

Temu has been contacted for comment.
